Refund Policy
Effective date: June 20, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of PipWires software licenses and related digital products made through the official PipWires website.
PipWires may be provided as early-access software. Before purchasing, customers should review the product description, supported platforms, system requirements, available features, known limitations, license terms, and early-access notice. A limited browser demo may also be available for evaluation before purchase.
1. Fourteen-day money-back guarantee
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the purchase date if PipWires is not suitable for your needs.
You do not need to prove that PipWires is defective to request a refund during this period.
The 14-day period begins on the purchase date shown on your Paddle receipt.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, you may:
- contact Email support using the email address associated with your purchase; or
- use the order-support option provided by Paddle in your purchase receipt.
Please provide:
- the email address used for the purchase;
- your Paddle transaction or order number, when available; and
- a brief reason for the refund request.
The reason helps us improve PipWires, but detailed technical proof is not required for an otherwise eligible request submitted within the 14-day period.
3. Technical issues
When a refund request relates to a technical problem, we may ask for reasonable diagnostic information, including:
- your operating system and version;
- your PipWires version;
- relevant error messages;
- the steps needed to reproduce the problem;
- screenshots or logs, when available.
We may offer troubleshooting assistance, a workaround, or a software update.
However, an eligible customer is not required to accept a prolonged troubleshooting process instead of receiving a refund requested within the 14-day period.
4. Effect of a refund
When a full refund is approved:
- the associated PipWires license will be cancelled or revoked;
- access to licensed downloads and future updates will end;
- the refunded license must no longer be used;
- the refund will normally be returned to the original payment method where possible; and
- the time required for funds to appear may depend on Paddle, the payment provider, and the customer’s financial institution.
A refund does not grant continued access to PipWires, licensed updates, downloadable builds, or licensed element packages.
Any MQL source code generated before the refund remains subject to the license terms that applied when it was generated.
5. Refund requests after 14 days
Refund requests submitted more than 14 calendar days after purchase are not normally eligible under our voluntary money-back guarantee.
A request may still be reviewed where:
- applicable law provides additional rights;
- an incorrect or duplicate charge occurred;
- the product was materially different from its published description;
- a serious defect prevents reasonable use and cannot be resolved;
- the transaction was unauthorized; or
- Paddle determines that a refund is appropriate under its applicable terms or policies.
Reviewing a request outside the 14-day period does not guarantee approval and does not create an obligation to approve similar future requests.
6. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges
Please contact us promptly if you believe:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- you were charged an incorrect amount;
- you purchased the wrong PipWires product or license; or
- the transaction was not authorized by you.
Duplicate or demonstrably incorrect charges will be investigated with Paddle and corrected where appropriate.
Unauthorized transactions may require additional verification by Paddle, the payment provider, or the relevant financial institution.
7. Fraud and refund abuse
A refund may be declined where there is reasonable evidence of:
- fraud;
- repeated purchase-and-refund activity intended to obtain continued free use;
- deliberate chargeback misuse;
- manipulation of the payment, activation, or licensing system;
- resale, redistribution, or unauthorized sharing of PipWires;
- use of false purchase information; or
- another serious violation of the applicable license or purchase terms.
This section does not restrict any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact PipWires support or Paddle before initiating a chargeback so that the issue can first be investigated and resolved.
A chargeback is not a substitute for an ordinary refund request.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or cancellation of the associated license or access.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising legitimate rights through their bank, card issuer, payment provider, Paddle, or applicable consumer-protection process.
9. Early-access software
PipWires may be sold as an alpha, beta, preview, or other early-access release.
Early-access software may contain:
- bugs;
- incomplete functionality;
- changing interfaces or workflows;
- incomplete documentation;
- platform-specific compatibility issues;
- changes to generated source code;
- features that are added, removed, or revised during development.
These characteristics will be disclosed before purchase. They do not remove the customer’s right to request an eligible refund during the 14-day refund period.
PipWires is a software-development tool. It does not provide financial advice, trading signals, investment recommendations, or guarantees of trading performance.
Generated code and trading strategies must be independently reviewed, compiled, tested, backtested, forward-tested, and validated before live use.
10. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
Where local law provides a longer withdrawal period, refund right, repair, replacement, cancellation right, or another mandatory remedy, those rights continue to apply.
11. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for PipWires purchases.
Paddle handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, billing administration, approved refunds, and chargebacks.
Refunds are processed through Paddle and will not normally be paid directly by PipWires through a separate bank transfer or payment service.
Paddle may request additional information, review refund eligibility, and process refunds in accordance with its buyer terms, refund policies, and applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes to PipWires, our commercial practices, payment arrangements, or legal obligations.
The policy applicable to a purchase will ordinarily be the version in effect when that purchase was completed, unless a later change is required by law or provides greater protection to the customer.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
